Cierra Randazzo-Scott joined Ott Law Firm as an Associate Litigation Attorney in December of 2021.
Before and while attending law school at Southern Illinois University School of Law, Cierra worked first as a litigation assistant, next as a paralegal, and then as a law clerk until receiving her membership to the Missouri Bar Association. She has over ten (10) of legal experience.
Cierra is a proud veteran of the United States Army where she served in Fort Jackson, South Carolina and Camp Hialeah, South Korea at the tender age of seventeen (17).
During law school, Cierra was a member of Journal of Legal Medicine where her article “If It’s Not Broken, Then Don’t Fix It: A Call to Amend the Definitions Provided by the Food and Drug Administration to Include the Newly Developed Meal-Kit Delivery Industry,” J Leg Med. 2018 Apr-Jun; 38(2): 313-328, was published in 2018. Cierra was also a member of the SIU School of Law Competition Trial Team where she found her passion for the courtroom.
Cierra is a versatile litigator. Her diverse practice areas, include but are not limited to criminal law, family law, civil law and business law. She has experience representing clients in challenging disputes that are filed on the basis of negligence, breach of contract, defamation, and personal injury. She has been successful in her criminal cases with extensive bond reductions, serious charges being dismissed and favorable results in Order of Protection hearings. She also has assisted in setting up/starting more than thirty (30) small businesses in the metro St. Louis area.
Client engagement is most important to successful litigation, and Cierra is fully committed to maintaining a high level of communication with her clients. She takes the time to truly get to know and involve the client and incorporate their goals, concerns, values and feedback. She collaborates with clients so they can provide valuable input to ensure that the legal strategy reflects their individual circumstances.
