Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District / May 16, 2023

Aaron Roesch, Appellant, vs. Aaron Birch-Edmundson, Respondent.

Respondent

Aaron Roesch sued Aaron Birch-Edmundson for property damage to his car, alleging discovery violations and seeking sanctions. Following a jury verdict for Edmundson, the trial court denied Roesch's motion for a new trial. On appeal, the Eastern District dismissed the appeal because Roesch's points relied on were multifarious and he failed to provide a transcript of the trial court proceedings, which are mandatory requirements for appellate review. The court also denied Edmundson's motion for damages for a frivolous appeal.
