Breeze Investments, LLC vs. Michael Rockwell and MR Floors, LLC

Appellant

Michael Rockwell appealed a judgment holding him personally liable for MR Floors, LLC's breach of contract under a personal guaranty. The trial court found the 2014 personal guaranty applied to a 2017 amended lease agreement. The appellate court reversed the judgment against Rockwell, holding that neither the personal guaranty nor the lease agreements clearly expressed an intent for the guaranty to extend beyond the original 24-month term. The judgment against MR Floors was affirmed.
