JAMES D. WOOLARD, Movant-Appellant v. STATE OF MISSOURI, Respondent-Respondent
James Woolard appealed the denial of his Rule 29.15 motion for post-conviction relief. The motion court found his amended motion timely, but the appellate court determined the amended motion was untimely because a second extension was granted after the filing deadline had expired. Consequently, the pro se motion became the operative motion, and because the motion court failed to adjudicate all claims in the timely pro se motion, the appellate court dismissed the appeal for lack of finality.
