Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District / Jun 26, 2018
RAMONE J. HICKS, Movant-Appellant, v. STATE OF MISSOURI, Respondent-Respondent.
Ramone J. Hicks appealed the denial of his amended Rule 29.15 motion for post-conviction relief, which sought to set aside his convictions for first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary, and armed criminal action. Hicks alleged, among other claims, a Brady violation and ineffective assistance of counsel. The appellate court dismissed the appeal, finding that the motion court's judgment failed to rule on all claims presented in the amended motion, specifically the "venire claim," thus lacking a final, appealable judgment.
