RANDALL S. LUDEMANN, Movant-Appellant v. STATE OF MISSOURI, Respondent-Respondent
Randall S. Ludemann, a felon, was found guilty of unlawfully possessing a derringer. After his direct appeal was affirmed, he filed a pro se motion for post-conviction relief, which was subsequently amended by appointed counsel. Ludemann appealed the denial of his amended motion, claiming ineffective assistance of trial counsel for failing to object to evidence of a traffic violation and ineffective assistance of appellate counsel for failing to challenge the admission of unrelated ammunition evidence. The appellate court affirmed the motion court's judgment, finding no clear error in its conclusions that counsel was not ineffective.
