Opinion Missouri Court of Appeals Eastern District Case Style: Sundance International, Inc., Plaintiff/Respondent, v. Joseph B. Teston and Lucily O. Teston Case Number: 72176 Handdown Date: 03/17/1998 Appeal From: Circuit Court of St. Louis County, Hon. Daniel J. O'Toole Counsel for Appellant: Edgar E. Lim Counsel for Respondent: Robert W. Henry Opinion Summary: None Citation: Opinion Author: PER CURIAM Opinion Vote: AFFIRMED. Ahrens, P.J., Crandall and Karohl, J.J., concur. Opinion: ORDER Defendants, Joseph B. Teston and Lucily O. Teston, appeal from the trial court's judgment, in a court-tried case, in favor of plaintiff, Sundance International, Inc., granting injunctive relief and awarding damages as well as attorneys' fees for defendants' breach of a covenant not to compete. We have reviewed the record on appeal and find that the judgment of the trial court is supported by substantial evidence and is not against the weight of the evidence. No error of law appears. An opinion would have no precedential value. The judgment is affirmed. Plaintiff's motion for damage for frivolous appeal is denied. Rule 84.16(b). Separate Opinion: None This slip opinion is subject to revision and may not reflect the final opinion adopted by the Court.

Supreme Court of MissouriFebruary 24, 2026#SC101091
The court affirmed the circuit court's decision to exclude Hanshaw's expert witness testimony and grant summary judgment to Crown Equipment in a product liability case involving an allegedly defectively designed forklift. The expert's opinions were properly excluded because they were not supported by reliable methodology, as the expert performed no tests and failed to demonstrate how cited research and data supported his conclusions.
