Kadean Construction Company, Inc. appealed from a trial court order partially sustaining a successor receiver's objection to its proof of claim in a receivership proceeding for Cannaver, LLC. Kadean had filed a claim for work performed on property owned by Guarantor Real Estate Holding Company, LLC, which leased to Cannaver. The appellate court dismissed the appeal, holding that the trial court's order was not a final, appealable judgment because it did not dispose of a judicial unit and Kadean's claim remained pending.
