Abraham J. Eoff and Crystal M. Eoff, Individually and as Plaintiffs ad Litem for Sophee R. Eoff Missouri Cases

Abraham and Crystal Eoff brought a medical negligence claim against Jennifer K. McDonald, D.O., and Seasons Healthcare for Women P.C. for the wrongful death of their daughter. Following a jury verdict for the defendants, the Eoffs appealed, arguing the circuit court erred by not allowing their counsel additional voir dire time to ask the "insurance question" after he forgot it during initial questioning. The Missouri Supreme Court affirmed the judgment, holding that the circuit court acted within its discretion in denying the request, as allowing it later would unduly highlight the question.
