Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District / Apr 17, 2019
DANNY R. BROWN and DIANA BROWN, Individually and as Husband and Wife, Plaintiffs-Respondents, vs. AMERICAN FAMILY MUTUAL INSURANCE COMPANY, Defendant-Appellant.
Danny and Diana Brown sued American Family Mutual Insurance Company, contending their four auto insurance policies were ambiguous regarding the stacking of underinsured motorist (UIM) coverage limits. The trial court granted summary judgment for the Browns, allowing stacking. The Court of Appeals reversed, holding that the policies unambiguously prohibited stacking of UIM coverage and remanded with directions to enter judgment for American Family.
