Missouri Court of Appeals, Western District / May 29, 2018
State of Missouri vs. Angela R. Henderson
Angela Henderson was convicted of second-degree felony murder, armed criminal action, and tampering with physical evidence. On appeal, she argued the trial court plainly erred in submitting verdict directors for felony murder and tampering with physical evidence by omitting essential elements and definitions. The appellate court reversed all convictions and remanded the case for a new trial, finding plain error in the jury instructions for felony murder and tampering with physical evidence.
