Anthony J. Stafford appealed his jury-trial convictions for first-degree sodomy and third-degree domestic assault. He raised three points: impermissible testimony about uncharged drug use, juror nondisclosure, and plain error in prior offender sentencing. The appellate court affirmed the trial court's judgment, finding no prejudice from the drug use testimony and no evidence of juror nondisclosure. Although the trial court plainly erred in the prior offender classification, Stafford failed to show manifest injustice.
