Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District / Mar 29, 2019
TRAVIS GIBSON, Plaintiff-Appellant v. CATHERINE RICE, Defendant-Respondent
Travis Gibson appealed a summary judgment granted in favor of Catherine Rice in his legal malpractice action. Representing himself, Gibson's appellate brief contained numerous and substantial violations of Rule 84.04, including deficiencies in the table of contents, jurisdictional statement, statement of facts, points relied on, argument, and conclusion. The appellate court found these deficiencies impeded review and preserved nothing for consideration. Consequently, the judgment of the trial court was affirmed.
