Courtney Little, Appellant, vs. State of Missouri, Respondent.
Courtney Little appealed the motion court's denial of his Rule 29.15 amended motion for post-conviction relief. The appellate court did not reach the merits of Little's appeal, finding instead that the amended motion was untimely because the motion court granted extension requests after the filing deadline had passed. The court reversed the judgment and remanded the case for the motion court to conduct an independent inquiry into whether Little was abandoned by post-conviction counsel.
