Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District / Nov 19, 2019
STATE OF MISSOURI, Respondent vs. CREGG ALLEN SNYDER, Appellant
Cregg Allen Snyder was convicted of four counts of first-degree statutory sodomy. On appeal, Snyder argued the trial court erred by excluding testimony from a DSS employee and requested plain error review for two jury instructions. The appellate court affirmed the conviction, finding the first point unpreserved for review due to deficiencies in the offer of proof and motion for new trial. The court also declined to exercise its discretion to review the unpreserved instructional error claims for plain error.
