DAVID WILLIAM RECTOR, JR., Appellant vs. STATE OF MISSOURI, Respondent
David William Rector, Jr. appealed the motion court's denial of his Rule 29.15 motion for post-conviction relief. Rector argued that his appellate counsel was ineffective for failing to challenge the trial court's decision to allow a late-endorsed witness to testify during his forgery trial. The appellate court affirmed the motion court's judgment, concluding there was no reasonable probability the outcome of Rector's direct appeal would have been different because the trial court did not abuse its discretion in allowing the late endorsement.
