KIMBERLY L. WALDNER, Plaintiff-Respondent v. DEXTER R-XI SCHOOL DISTRICT, Defendant-Appellant
Kimberly L. Waldner, a teacher, appealed the termination of her contract by the Dexter R-XI Board of Education to the circuit court, which reversed the Board's decision and ordered her reinstatement. The Board appealed, and the Missouri Court of Appeals reversed the circuit court's judgment. The appellate court found that Teacher's pro se brief contained significant deficiencies, including non-compliant points relied on and a lack of record citations, which precluded meaningful review. Consequently, the court remanded the case with directions for the circuit court to affirm the Board's original decision.
