Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District / Sep 26, 2019
STATE OF MISSOURI, Respondent vs. DOYLE EDWARD HITCHCOCK, Appellant
Doyle Edward Hitchcock appealed his convictions for five counts of forcible sodomy, six counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and two counts of forcible rape. He challenged the sufficiency of the evidence, the trial court's admission of uncharged misconduct testimony, and the admission of testimony relating to the Children's Division's substantiation of abuse allegations. The appellate court found no merit to his points on appeal, concluding that substantial evidence supported the convictions and that the trial court did not abuse its discretion in its evidentiary rulings. Therefore, the judgment of the trial court was affirmed.
