FRANK PETER RENICK, JR., Appellant vs. STATE OF MISSOURI, Respondent
Frank Peter Renick, Jr. appealed the denial of his Rule 24.035 post-conviction relief motion, which alleged ineffective assistance of counsel during his guilty plea and sentencing for child molestation. Renick claimed counsel misled him about probation and trial costs, and failed to explain a Sentencing Assessment Report or present medical records. The motion court denied the claims after an evidentiary hearing, finding counsel credible and no prejudice. The appellate court affirmed, concluding the motion court did not clearly err in its findings.
