Hannah Sue Kelly and others challenged the fairness and sufficiency of fiscal notes and fiscal note summaries prepared by the Missouri State Auditor for proposed initiative petitions concerning reproductive freedom. The circuit court found the Auditor's documents to be fair and sufficient. The appellate court affirmed, concluding that the Auditor acted within his broad discretion in preparing the fiscal notes and summaries, and that the appellants failed to demonstrate that the documents were insufficient or unfair.
