STATE OF MISSOURI, Plaintiff-Respondent v. JAMES DARRIN WOOLARD, Defendant-Appellant
Defendant James Darrin Woolard was found guilty of three counts of first-degree statutory sodomy and appealed, challenging the sufficiency of the evidence for two counts and the admission of certain testimony. The Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District, affirmed the convictions. The court held that touching through clothing can constitute deviate sexual intercourse and that the defendant waived objections to admitted testimony by stipulation, and found no plain error in the admission of expert testimony on delayed disclosures.
