State of Missouri vs. Justin A. Fields
Justin A. Fields was convicted of attempted forcible rape after a jury trial. On appeal, Fields argued that the trial court erred by overruling his objection to the prosecutor's questioning of the venire panel during voir dire. The appellate court affirmed the judgment, finding that Fields failed to preserve his claim of error for appellate review because his objection theory changed. Even under plain error review, the court found no error in the trial court's ruling regarding voir dire.
