Mustafa Q. Alamin vs. Likita N. Alamin
Mother appealed the denial of her motion to revive a 2001 dissolution judgment, which had ordered Father to pay child support and maintenance. Mother argued that Father's prior motions to modify child support and terminate maintenance, and the subsequent modification judgments, had revived the original judgment. The appellate court affirmed, holding that such motions do not revive a judgment under Missouri law and that Father adequately established his untimeliness defense as a legal question.
