Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District / Sep 28, 2023
IN THE INTEREST OF S.L.C., Greene County Juvenile Office, Respondent vs. M.A.C., Appellant
M.A.C. (Father) appealed the circuit court's judgment terminating his parental rights over S.L.C. (Child), which was based on findings of neglect, failure to rectify, and that termination was in the Child's best interest. Father argued the court erred in finding grounds for termination and in determining termination was in the Child's best interest. The appellate court affirmed the judgment, concluding Father's arguments lacked merit because he failed to challenge all grounds for termination and did not adequately address the best interest factors. The court also noted Father's procedural errors in presenting his appeal.
