Nationwide Insurance Company of America vs. Matthew P. Six
Matthew Six appealed a trial court judgment in favor of Nationwide Insurance Company of America, stemming from a dispute over underinsured motorist (UIM) coverage. Six was injured in an accident while driving an employer-owned vehicle and received UIM payments from his employer's insurer. Nationwide denied coverage based on an "Other Insurance" clause in Six's personal policy. The appellate court affirmed, finding the clause unambiguous and applicable to preclude additional UIM payments from Nationwide.
