Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District / Mar 18, 2020
STATE OF MISSOURI, Respondent v. MICHAEL D. BURGE, Appellant
Michael D. Burge appealed his convictions for statutory sodomy in the first degree and child molestation in the first degree, following a jury trial. Burge challenged the trial court's admission of propensity evidence, exclusion of extrinsic evidence of a false accusation by a witness, and admission of child advocacy center interview reports. The appellate court affirmed the judgment, finding no abuse of discretion in any of the trial court's evidentiary rulings.
