Marty and Melissa Niffen sued Michael and Erin Feinstein regarding a 50-foot-wide road and utility easement over the Feinsteins' property. The trial court entered an amended judgment ordering a conveyance of the easement to the Niffens, conditioned on the Niffens fulfilling their obligations under a contract for deed. The appellate court, reviewing sua sponte, determined that the conditional judgment was not final for purposes of appeal. Consequently, the court dismissed the appeal for lack of authority.
