L.F.W., Jr. sought expungement of three criminal records, which the trial court granted. The State of Missouri appealed, arguing that L.F.W.'s records were ineligible for expungement because his arrest involved a motor vehicle violation while he held a commercial driver's license (CDL), and that his petitions were filed prematurely. The appellate court reversed all three judgments of expungement, agreeing with the State on both grounds.
