Phillip Guinn appealed the Labor and Industrial Relations Commission's denial of his workers' compensation claim against the Second Injury Fund. Guinn argued that his preexisting Parkinson's disease combined with his occupational hearing loss and tinnitus to render him permanently totally disabled. The appellate court affirmed the Commission's award, concluding that Guinn failed to meet his burden of proof to show this combined disability. The court also dismissed the Fund's cross-appeal as moot.
