EDWARD A. RILEY, II, and NATALIE D. RILEY, Plaintiffs-Respondents v. RANDALL ZOLL and LANDALL ZOLL, Defendants-Appellants
Edward and Natalie Riley initiated an unlawful detainer action against Randall and Landall Zoll, alleging the Zolls breached a farmland lease. The trial court found in favor of the Rileys, granting them immediate possession of the property. On appeal, the Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District, dismissed the Zolls' appeal as moot, determining that the Zolls had voluntarily vacated the farmland and their lease had expired, thus eliminating any practical effect a decision on the merits would have had.
