Robert L. Hook vs. State of Missouri
Robert L. Hook appealed the motion court's judgment granting his Rule 29.15 motion for post-conviction relief, which had vacated his convictions for child molestation, statutory sodomy, statutory rape, and incest. The State of Missouri appealed the motion court's decision. The appellate court reversed the motion court's judgment, finding that Hook failed to establish either deficient performance or prejudice for any of his claims of ineffective assistance of trial counsel.
