Savana Atkisson Missouri Cases

Savana Atkisson, a female corrections officer, sued the Missouri Department of Corrections (DOC) for sex discrimination and hostile work environment under the MHRA, alleging that a new gender announcement policy enabled offender sexual harassment. The trial court granted summary judgment to the DOC on both claims. On appeal, Atkisson challenged only the hostile work environment claim.
