Appellant Beth Owen sued The Washington University for wrongful termination, and the circuit court dismissed her petition and granted summary judgment. The circuit court later ruled on Owen's motion to retax costs. On appeal, Owen challenged both the dismissal/summary judgment and the retaxation of costs. The appellate court dismissed the appeal regarding the wrongful termination claim as untimely for lack of jurisdiction and affirmed the circuit court's order retaxing costs.
