Timothy Mauzy appealed a trial court's judgment finding him in contempt of an injunction order that prohibited him from contacting certain customers of his former employer, Chemline Incorporated. The trial court also assessed a $2,000 compensatory fine and awarded Chemline $6,000 in attorneys' fees. The appellate court affirmed the contempt finding and the award of attorneys' fees, but reversed the compensatory fine, remanding for reconsideration due to a lack of evidence of actual damages.
