Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District / Sep 6, 2022
STATE OF MISSOURI, Plaintiff-Respondent v. CHRISTOPHER STEPHENS FORD, Defendant-Appellant
Christopher Stephens Ford appealed his convictions for second-degree robbery and resisting arrest, arguing the circuit court plainly erred by allowing the prosecutor to cross-examine him using a Dollar General website. The appellate court denied plain-error review. It found that Ford failed to establish substantial grounds for believing the alleged error resulted in a manifest injustice or miscarriage of justice, and therefore affirmed the circuit court's judgment.
