Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District / Sep 19, 2023
State of Missouri, Respondent, v. Santonio McCoy, Appellant.
Santonio McCoy was convicted of first-degree child molestation after a jury trial. On appeal, McCoy challenged the sufficiency of the evidence to prove intent, the admission of expert testimony regarding a Children's Advocacy Center interview, and the State's alleged knowing use of perjured testimony. The appellate court affirmed the judgment, finding sufficient evidence of intent and declining to review the other points due to procedural deficiencies, including multifariousness and lack of preservation.
